Second paragraph of “A Normal Day in the Office” ends with:
“As the outside world begins to show signs of sunlight, it’s time
to get off.”

I really don’t think this is the wording that you want to go with. There are connotations. Perhaps: “As the outside world begins to show signs of sunlight, the train approaches your stop.”
