Agile Web Development with Rails 8: Discontinuity between code and text (PDF B3 p. 229)
For Iteration J1 Selecting the locale, there is some discontinuity between the code and the text.
- The products resource has a
get :who_bought, on: :memberblock that applies to the Atom feed from previous versions of the book that appears to have been cut for the Rails 8 edition. (Either restore the section of the book or remove the associated code) - The text of the book says that the admin pages do not require translation, but the authentication routes for session and passwords are in the locale block. The views for those routes never get modified in the chapter. Either translate the authentication views or remove them from the locale block. There is the specific sentence: “Note that we didn’t choose to put the administrative and session functions inside this scope, because it’s not our intent to translate them at this time.”

Removed that atom route and moved session and password resources out of the locale scope. Thanks!
