Dominik, your book is great. Congratulations on getting it published!

I’m hoping that in the next few months we’ll see an update, perhaps an extra chapter, that includes the new Map component in Swift UI/iOS 14. This is a major improvement that enables us to use maps in our Swift UI apps without having to incorporate MapKit from UI Kit. Of course, there are also other location related changes in iOS 14, especially the latest privacy controls in Core Location that mean locations may be approximate rather than precise.

Sorry for not replying earlier. I didn’t see your message. :frowning:

I will update the book for the new privacy controls in Core Location.

About the map component in SwiftUI, I think about rewriting the first chapter using SwiftUI. But this won’t come this year. UIKit is still very relevant and I love about my book that it uses Storyboard, UI in code and SwiftUI.
