High Performance PostgreSQL for Rails: strange wording (p 81):
Active Record supports multiple validations becoming listed out for an
attribute.
It took me a couple of tries to understand this, maybe it would make more sense to replace “becoming” with “being”?

Thanks. What you wrote definitely looks better, although I’d probably even rewrite it now to something like “multiple Active Record validations may be added for a single attribute.”
We’re getting close to the book being finalized, so I’m asking the editor if we can get this in. Thanks for reporting it!
