It seems impossible to follow Chapter 7 Iteration B2: Unit Test of Models. The book never mentions the need of having files in “test/fixtures/files” - in fact, even the source code does not contain it.

The helper function “new_product” uses “db/images”, but the rest of the code uses “test/fixtures/files. Defining blobs in blobs.yml will also try to load files from “test/fixtures/files” and trying to run “bin/rails test” will simply fail.

There will also be a test error in “should create product” in products_controller_test.rb, since it will try to create a product using products(:one) but the uniqueness of the title will fail.

Following the code on that chapter will lead to several errors that may be hard for beginners to debug.
