Effective Haskell: lambda example would help (pages 8-9)
Title: Effective Haskell - lambda example would help (pages 8-9)
At the bottom of page 8 and the top of page 9 lambdas are described. I like to test each little piece as I go along (isn’t that how Haskell developers work?). It would be nice if the included an example of using the lambs shown in a ghci environment. Without an example I can type in to ghci and try, I’m left thinking “I think I understand it, but I wish I could try it out in ghci”. At this point, I don’t have enough knowledge to know how to do that and need to book to guide me.
