What should I consider when choosing VPS hosting in India
Hi everyone,
I’m working on a Flutter web application and I’m currently learning more about deployment and server requirements. I’m considering VPS hosting in India because most of the application’s users are expected to be based in India.
I’d like to understand what developers normally look for when choosing a VPS for a Flutter web app.
Some of the things I’m considering are:
- CPU and RAM requirements
- NVMe SSD storage
- Server location and network latency
- Nginx configuration
- SSL/HTTPS setup
- Git-based deployment
- Backups and server security
- Ability to upgrade resources as traffic grows
I’m interested in the technical side of choosing a suitable server rather than simply choosing a provider.
For a small or medium-sized Flutter web application, what VPS configuration would you recommend as a starting point?
Also, are there any common server or deployment mistakes that beginners should avoid?
I’d appreciate advice from developers who have experience deploying Flutter web applications on VPS servers.

From my experience, I would mainly consider CPU/RAM, storage type, server location, network latency, uptime, and technical support before choosing a VPS.
