Rust Brain Teasers: IEE (pages 4-6)
I see mentions of the ‘IEE-754’ standard, but as far as I know, it’s the IEEE 754-2008 standard (the first paragraph got it right though).
To clarify:
- “IEEE” stands for Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, which are known for their publications among other activities.
- “IEE” stands for something else and I’ve never seen that acronym used in the same context.
Just a minor technicality, which doesn’t prevent me from enjoying this book.

Glad your enjoying it! I wish we’d caught that in beta; I’ve noted it down to fix if there’s a second edition in the future. Thank you!
