What we know about ongoing Coldcard hack that's stolen over $100M worth of bitcoin | CBC News

A Toronto-based company that made Coldcard, a bitcoin-only hardware wallet that has been the latest target of a data breach,
has reportedly lost $100 million US worth of bitcoin as a result of the hack.

That’s a pretty serious breach, especially considering the amount of Bitcoin involved. It’s a good reminder that even hardware wallets need strong security practices around the whole ecosystem. I will be interested to see what caused the breach and how Coldcard responds.
