It seems my purchase on Affinity was justified. Expected from Adobe to make such moves.

What are cheaper alternatives to Adobe?

Yep. Affinity rocks. I purchased it way back in 2015 and have zero regrets, even though I don’t use it much.

This obsession with insane subscription fees will be the death of the saas movement.

I can’t speak for others, but I want to own my stuff and not have to worry about my access being cut off suddenly by some weird bean counter in a corporate suite.
