Compiling on Catalina installed through a patcher
If I install Catalina on unsupported models of MacBook Pro through a patcher, will there be any (certification or other) problem while compiling for iOS through Xcode 12?

I wouldn’t have thought so DG, but maybe keep a separate boot drive without it just in case?

I know it will work fine, and some of the older models like i7 15" 2011, or i7, 15" 2012 have 2.0 GHz or above, quad-core processors and are quite performant machines and will compile on Xcode just fine, but I don’t know if there will occurs some certification related error or not.

I’m not sure (I do remb submitting my app was a bit of a pain) but again, I wouldn’t have thought so …I am sure I’ve seen YouTube videos of iOS devs using hackintoshes (but don’t quote me on that!)
