Anthropic IPO docs reportedly reveal over $40 billion in losses

Reuters reviewed Anthropic’s IPO prospectus, revealing new details about the AI company’s financials.

In another industry and with another product, serious questions would be raised about those losses.

Some would argue that it’s ok for a company that’s gaining traction to lose money as it gains customers, but NOT to this extent.

Fortunately for Anthropic, the public will rush to buy the stock the same way they did for SpaceX, and all this “negative news” will be water under the bridge.

I’m still curious though, about who’ll be left standing once the AI arms race is over.
