That’s exactly the kind of project I enjoy reading about-starting with a simple everyday annoyance and ending up with a practical solution. Automating irrigation makes a lot of sense, especially if you’re trying to keep plants healthy without constantly thinking about it. It also reminds me how much proper watering affects plants in general. I recently came across this article about why hydrangea leaves turn yellow, and it does a good job explaining how watering can be part of the problem: https://botanapp.com/blog/yellow-leaf-hydrangea. Curious to see where you took the Home Assistant setup from there.
