Took a look at the website. The language design reeks of Haskell, one could tell by the name “Curry” itself and the use of the lambda as part of its logo.

Unfortunately, it’s all down hill from there.

1. The site design is unpleasant and dull.
2. There are no clear instructions on how to install the compiler or the language.
3. The documentation is extremely geeky, tone deaf with regards to beginners and monotonous.

I think Curry is an example of what happens when smart people build something they believe is awesome but assume that other people will automatically see its beauty or awesomeness. Hint: they won’t, unless you show them.

I’m sure there’ll be more languages coming in the future. But the ones that will last will have extremely good documentation, easier setup instructions and tooling but most importantly be practical and not theoretical like many functional programming languages.
