It might not have when you read it, but now the README says:

paperback also supports (k, n) redundancy, allowing for n key shards to be created but only k being required in order for the backup to be recovered.

I like this idea. Would be nice to also have the support to split keys up so you need, say, 3 of 5 or whatever of the keys to be able to actually get the key data that it all encodes, would be an interesting and physical backup for a big key split among multiple people that’s significantly less susceptible to one person going a bit ‘wrong’.
