Ecosia - a search engine that's planted over 100M trees!

Founded in 2009 - I had no idea this existed. I hope we’ll see more ethical outfits like this on the web - in fact I think they may well be the future :smiley:

If you actually want to plant trees I can recommend to send a few bucks to the folks over at

They plant a single tree for a $1.25 or 1€. I have a standing order with them to offset my CO2 footprint and even give a bit back.
