If you are building a small web app, it is probably better to use Brut than Rails. Although I hope it won’t get abandoned.

I agree. And Rails 8 have new features that allows you to focus on building your application instead of dealing with infrastructure complexities.

Hmmm. Looks interesting, but I’ve seen a tad bit of Ruby web frameworks to be wary. Hanami was supposed to help move away from teh Rails way, but even it’s creator moved on from the project.
I admire David Copeland’s enthuthiasm and determination, but it’s going to take a lot to get this project off the ground and into the marketplace.
Building and releasing software is the first step and “easiest” part, adoption is the final and hardest part.
