After major outages partly linked to AI-assisted coding, Amazon is tightening engineering controls and requiring stricter reviews and approvals for code changes.

Too aggressive is not safe.

If you incentivize people to use AI for everything in order to get paid, you will get people that use AI without taking the time to read and test the generated code.
