UK government ban for Chinese Hikvision CCTV cameras.
Hikvision CCTV cameras are used by up to 60% of UK public bodies including schools. Now ministers are banning them on security grounds.

They should ban them for personal use too - it’s crazy how so many people have these cameras connected to the internet for use of their ‘free’ cloud storage, basically a country-wide surveillance system for anyone who owns/has access to those servers :upside_down_face:
